The GHX-1400 can be used in processes where the magnetic material is the final product to be obtained, such as iron ore, ilmenite, chrome ore, manganese, tungsten, zinc, nickel, tantalum, niobium, molybdenium,etc. Alternatively, the GHX-1400 can also be used to concentrate non- magnetic materials by removing the magnetic contaminants, i.e. silica, kaolin, graphite, bauxite, etc.

GAUSTEC presents the magnetic separator GHX-1400, breaking its own previous record of the world's biggest magnetic separator in terms of feeding capacity, achieved with the GX-800 equipment. The Magnetic Separator GHX-1400 is a WHIMS (Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator) equipment type, of GAUSTEC's X series, used for separating or concentrating materials with different magnetic responses. Projected for the heavy-duty work, offers several TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS:



HIGH TECH COILS
Electricity Saving Up to 50% compared to the existing equipments in the market (for the same magnetic field intensity).
Air Cooling system with magnetic stability
No water needed for the cooling of the coils.
The magnetic field remains constant at the level adjusted by the process engineer for the process. ( DC Current Closed Loop Control).





WATER SAVING
On the middlings washing process.
No water needed for coil refrigeration.



PROJECT OUTLINES
12 feeding points per equipment (6 points per rotor).
12 electromagnetic coils (6 per rotor – hexapolar).

EASY OPERATION AND PROCESSING
Equalized feeding through feeding boxes with individual flow control.
Equipment supplied with water filter.
Adjustable rotors speed from 2 to 4 RPM through frequency inverters.
Option to magnetize the top and bottom rotors at different magnetic intensities by means of two separate AC/DC Converters to feed the coils. This feature enables two types of processes stages to take place (rougher + cleaner, rougher + scavenger) in the same equipment.
Adjusted Magnetic Field remains stable even under environmental or coil temperature variation (current feedback in closed loop control).
